For young visitors, a fun course is offered free of charge. It consists of objects to touch, various games integrated into the scenography and the puzzles in chests.
The visit to the interior of the museum is completed by the discovery of items in the orchard and the courtyard, including an ossuary, the well, and watercolours representing the camp life of soldiers. Visitors can also extend their visit with a walk or bike ride (the museum has the Bienvenu Vélo label) in the countryside of Genappe. Maps are available at the museum reception. Finally, outdoor picnic tables are available to our guests.
You may also book one-hour guided tours of Napoleon’s Last HQ (via prior reservation) for a group of visitors. These tours are run by our partner, Guides 1815. For example, for 20 people, the price would be €70 plus the price of admission to the museum.
Directions to the museum, opening hours, and prices for visits to the museum are listed in the useful information.
